Change Orders
Change orders executed more than
ten days after signing of the contract are subject to a $150.00 processing
fee. The fee for the first change order if initiated within 10 days of
the contract date will be waived. All change must be in writing and signed
and will include a non-refundable payment equal to a minimum of 20% of
the change order amount before work may commence. Change orders may affect
the production schedule and result in an adjustment to the closing date.
The mortgage lender must approve change orders affecting the contract price.
All selections must be made through the builder's vendors.
The purchaser must contact the
builder within five business days of contract to schedule a meeting for
selections. All selections must be complete no later than 30 days after
contract date.
The purchaser shall retain the
right to have a private home inspection after a certificate of occupancy
is issued, with 3 business days prior notification to Builder. Early occupancy,
prior to closing, is not permitted. Storage of the purchaser's personal
possessions in the dwelling prior to closing is not permitted.
The builder's vendor must supply all light
fixtures, including ceiling fans. The builder warranty will not cover the
finish on exterior brass hardware or light fixtures.
Options
The builder will offer buyers the opportunity to purchase certain
